Thank you everyone for a really really nice stay for two nights this visit. Stunning and marvellous location - within a walking distance of everywhere we needed. Plus, main attraction such as Pencelli Castle was 3 km from this hotel.
Hard to think of anything.

drying room, amazing mountain views, excellent hiking access
I felt the interior could use a fresher paint job!!! The lounge, while modern, had minimal seating options, made relaxing less comfortable for larger groups!!!

The warm welcome from the hosts set a positive tone for our stay. The breakfast was particularly excellent, with generous portions, including a good spinach, cheese, and tomato omelette. The location offered amazing mountain views and easy access to hiking routes, which enhanced our experience . We appreciated the drying room for our wet clothes after hiking, though it was slightly inconvenient that we needed to carry flashlights for the walk to the nearby pub due to limited lighting on the road.

The Lodge Brecon B&B impressed me immediately. The room had amazing views of the Brecon Beacons. Perfectly decorated and cozy. Bed comfort was excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. The amenities were lovely, including a great shower and free toiletries. Breakfast options were plentiful, with homemade marmalades that stood out. The pillows were a bit lumpy, affecting my sleep comfort. Steve and Bronwyn were attentive hosts, providing helpful information about walking trails. The drying room was a great touch to deal with wet clothes after a day's hike. The location made it easy to explore the area. Small inconvenience with pillows. Everything else was great.

The breakfasts here are an absolute treat! With generous portions and lovely options like an omelette loaded with spinach, cheese, and tomato, it really hit the spot after our hikes. The overall vibe is super cute, with hosts who genuinely care.
If I had to nitpick, I'd say a microwave in the guest area would have been handy for those too tired to venture out for dinner. But honestly, everything else was great, clean facilities and comfy rooms made for an almost perfect getaway!

Perfect Spot for Hikers
The views from my room were fine, and I loved the perfect poached eggs at breakfast. The hosts, Steve and Bronwyn, were super helpful with walk planning. The only thing was the road to the pub-it wasn't great to walk on at night with no streetlights.

I had an amazing time soaking in the stunning views from my room and enjoyed the cozy breakfast every morning. The garden was a lovely spot to unwind, and the drying room was a lifesaver after hiking in the rain. The only small downside was the pillows could've been a bit more comfortable, but don't let that stop you from visiting! 🌿
